When you enter you can either turn left to the Lobby and front desk or go straight into casino itself. Hotel entrance is in the back, you can either park or valet park. The hotel is connected to the casino on the east side. As a single senior going to a casino hotel I was completely comfortable with my trip.
Viejas hotel is a lovely non smoking, very popular place to stay.
